AI is the future and it’s being defined by the people who both use and build it. Right now, the AI workforce is overwhelmingly men with only 15% being women. And this disparity permeates into its user base as well, creating bias in AI tools themselves.

With Girls Who Code's mission to close the gender gap in tech, we needed to get more girls interested in AI, and inversely get AI to learn about girls. And what better way to do that than through the storytelling of music? GirlJams is a first of its kind tool that brings together the humanity of songwriting and the power of AI.
